Annual Conference heading for a new record
Demand for places at the AIRMIC annual conference in June has got off to a hot start, with 275 applications already received by the end of March. Although still early days, the figure suggests that the event is on course to beat last year’s record attendance.
“The feedback we’re getting is that the success of the 2007 conference in London is carrying over to this year,” says events co-ordinator Chloé Green. “People are putting the event in their diaries early. We’re also getting positive comments about the programme and choice of location.” Long established as the UK’s largest and most important gathering for risk managers, the conference has gained an enviable reputation as a place to network and hear lively debate. It runs from June 17-18 in Edinburgh, and is entitled “Communicating Risk Management”. Anyone wishing to enrol should download the brochure and application from the conference website or contact Chloé Green on 020 7480 7610
