• Council is elected by Members and is the forum that determines strategic direction and is responsible for overseeing AIRMIC activities and monitoring governance standards more...
  

• Executive Committee comprises the current Chairman, two Deputy Chairs, two recent past Chairs, Technical Director and the Chief Executive
• It is responsible for setting agendas, reporting important issues to Council and ensuring effective and efficient operation of AIRMIC and the secretariat 
  

• AIRMIC is supported by a full-time staff including: Chief Executive, Technical Director, Finance and Administration Manager, Events Co-ordinator, Membership Secretary, Website Controller and external contractors for PR and Communications more...
  

• Finance Committee is responsible for compiling the annual budget and monitoring income and expenditure, as well as setting the reserves policy
• Finance Committee is also responsible for receiving reports from external auditors and overseeing the work (and responding to any concerns) of the Audit Committee 

• Membership Committee maintains an overview of membership numbers and membership benefits, including website, AIRMIC News, industry and focus and partner events
• Programme Committee oversees the annual conference, risk federation events, the annual dinner, regional and networking events and training for members
  

• Promotes the effective use of insurance through discussion and influence, as well as producing guides and advising on the role of insurance as a risk financing mechanism

• Promotes best practice, including enterprise-wide risk management, integrating risk management into business processes, risk reporting, research and benchmarking

• Seeks to establish and develop key links with partners, suppliers, service providers and other organisations and develop joint initiatives and projects, as appropriate
