What Airmic’s new website means for you.

Just in case you haven't noticed, there have been big changes to www.airmic.com - and I am not just referring to the new look, much improved as it is. Airmic has been working hard to make the website a really useful tool for members.
For the past few years the site has contained a wealth of material, much of it unique. Yet finding it could be a lengthy and frustrating experience, and this great resource has been under-used. The site is now a lot more user-friendly and easier to navigate, making it easier to find the stuff you want.
One of the biggest advances is our key-word search engine. Want to find Helen Hayden's research on global insurance compliance? Type in 'global insurance compliance' and it's just one click away. The same idea with the Airmic News roundtable on Turnbull and governance, which you may remember took place about a year or two ago, though you cannot remember exactly when. Likewise Airmic's research into risk appetite. And so on.
You can also find edited videos of many of our breakfast briefings and past sessions of Airmic Live, our many other research documents and briefing papers and details of special interest groups. Not to mention one of the most used aspects of our old site, the member contacts section, plus a long list of other features too numerous to mention here.
The revamped site makes it easier for members to communicate with each other. For example, if you have something to say on the activities of a special interest group, just go to the relevant section and post your comment or question.
The new website is designed to maximise technology and support risk managers and insurance buyers, whose time is increasingly precious. Please give it a good road test. Above all, let us know if you can think of further improvements as we need your feedback to help make this an absolutely superb facility for the benefit of our members.
Kind regards,
Nicky Harvey
Airmic, Chair.
